Nicolo’s mother battled cancer for four years until she passed away a day after her 47th birthday on April 27, 2009.
At the time, Nicolo and his twin sister Isabel were only 9 years old while his younger sister Camilla was 7 years old.
Back in 2021, Robert’s father Stanley spoke of mourning the death of his first wife even after 11 years. He said,
“You never stop grieving. It’s still hard after 11 years, and it will always be hard.”
Not to mention, Nicolo’s father was also diagnosed with a tumor while in high school. Tucci had his tumor removed in 2018 with 35 days of radiation and seven sessions of chemotherapy.
