Youth and education
TBNRFrags was raised along with his siblings David, Daka, Joshua, Caleb and Keeley by their mother and their adoptive father, whom their mother married when TBNRFrags was three months old – his adoptive father has a YouTube channel – “PapaFrags” – while his siblings also have transmitters. TBNRFrags states that his adoptive father loves him and his siblings as if he were their biological father, but has also stated that he would like to meet his biological father one day.
TBNRFrags started playing video games while he was in elementary school, and by the time he reached high school, he was able to beat all of his peers at a certain game. He still decided to focus on his education, and after his entrance exam in 2012, enrolled at the Travis Academy of Fine Arts in Fort Worth, Texas, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in 2016.
Career as a YouTuber
While attending college and before starting his career as a YouTuber, TBNRFrags worked as a lifeguard for some time as he is an avid swimmer.
He is currently run four YouTube channels:
- His main channel, “TBNRFrags”, was launched on November 29, 2010 and is subscribed by nearly 6.5 million people, while garnering more than 1.4 billion views of all of his videos combined. He uses this channel to upload game videos; the games he plays most often are “Fortnite” and “Among Us”. The channel’s most popular video, “Little Brother Gets 100,000 Vbucks When He Wins! (Fortnite Rainbow Dropper)”, has been viewed more than 21 million times as of February 9, 2019.
- He launched his second channel, “PrestonGamez”, on April 18, 2017, and it has nearly 3.1 million subscribers and approximately 543 million views of all of his videos combined. TBNRFrags also uses this channel to upload game videos and the channel’s most popular video ‘HOW TO BE THE STRONGEST ROBLOX PLAYER! (Weight Lifting Simulator with my Little Sister!)” has been viewed more than 15.6 million times as of October 22, 2018.
- “PrestonPlayz” is his third channel, created on March 13, 2018, and is currently subscribed by nearly 8.5 million people, while garnering approximately 2.2 billion views of all of his videos combined. The channel is also used for uploading game content, and the most popular video is “5 Ways to Prank PrestonPlayz Minecraft House” as it has more than 34 million views as of February 26, 2019.
- Finally its fourth channel which launched on May 6, 2019 is ‘PrestonCosmic’ which has over 480,000 subscribers and it has approximately 12.4 million views of all its videos combined. Mostly Minecraft videos have been uploaded to this channel, while the most popular video “I Found a SECRET Billionaire Only Mine! *overpowered*” has been viewed more than 1.7 million times as of March 7, 2020.
TBNRFrags and another YouTuber, MrWoofless, also have a Minecraft server together called CosmicPvP – it has been open since 2014 and contains many game mods like HCF, Factions and KitPvP.
He has been nominated for a tenth Streamy Award in the gaming category – the tenth annual Streamy Awards will be held on December 13, 2020.
Love life and relationships
TBNRFrags is more or less open when it comes to his love life – his first girlfriend known to the public was Paige, who is also a YouTuber with over 80,000 subscribers.
They started dating in 2016 but broke up in February 2017 for unknown reasons.
Less than two months later, he began dating Brianna Barnhart, a registered nurse, actress and singer. The two fell in love very quickly and got engaged in October 2017 and vows exchanged in May 2018 in a private ceremony attended by their closest friends and family. Brianna can be seen in many videos from TBNRFrags, while she also has her own channel, “Brianna”, which has over 4.8 million subscribers.
TBNRFrags hasn’t talked about any other girls he may have dated so as of December 2020 he is married to Brianna Barnhart and they have no kids as they have agreed to focus on their careers.
Hobbies and other interests
TBNRFrags is a philanthropist who loves to donate money to charities – in one of his videos, he donated $1,000 to Australian Wildfire Charity.
He is also a fan of board games, and although he has played several, his favorite seems to be Minecraft Builders & Biomes.
TBNRFrags loves to travel and has been around the US with his other half, while also visiting a few European countries including France and Germany. Photos taken during their travels can be uploaded to TBNRFrags’ Instagram account.
TBNRFrags is a big fan of Disney movies, with some of his favorites being “Wall-E”, “Despicable Me” and “The Lion King”; he has also visited Disneyland in Anaheim, California.
He is physically quite active and has multiple workouts at the gym every week while also following a strict diet so his muscular body.
