Good enough is an adult animated sitcom created by JG Quintel in the United States. The project was originally supposed to premiere on TBS in 2017, but it was delayed and rescheduled several times before finally premiering on HBO Max on July 9, 2020. The series premiered on TBS on October 25, 2021, after its release. from TBS and TNT’s Front Row blocks.
Critics have compared the series to Quintel’s earlier series, Regular Show, and have given it excellent reviews.
Quintel’s previous series, Regular Show, ended on Cartoon Network in May 2017, four months after the series was announced. The series was originally supposed to air on TBS, but was repeatedly postponed. TBS had planned to premiere the show as part of its own animation block, but those plans fell through when Louis CK’s production on The Cops was halted due to his alleged sexual misconduct. On October 29, 2019, HBO announced that the series would instead be moved to HBO Max. On June 15, 2020, the second part of the third episode premiered at the Annecy International Animated Film Festival.
The sitcom was renewed for a second season on August 6, 2020.
The series was distributed internationally by Netflix in Latin America the following month, starting September 14, 2020.
The second season began on HBO Max on February 25, 2021.
A third season was confirmed on February 10, 2021, ahead of the season launch. On May 26, 2021, Netflix launched the second season internationally.
The show’s first two seasons were released digitally on iTunes on October 24, 2021.
The third season began on HBO Max on April 7, 2022.

Close Enough has not only been renewed for a fourth season, but has been for quite some time. It was given the go-ahead for a third and fourth season before the second season aired, which points to a number of things.
