If you’re waiting for Servant of the People season 4, you’re not alone; there are several fans all over the world. Created by Ivan Bakanov and Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Servant of the People is a Ukrainian political satire comedy series that debuted in December 2015. The show has gained a lot of international recognition amid the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine. And fans are hoping for a return of the show with a fourth season.

The show stars Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy as Vasyl Goloborodko. Vasyl is a school teacher whose student shares a video of him criticizing the corruption in the country. It changes his whole world. And people are starting to support him as a presidential candidate.

Is Servant Of The People Season 4 Coming?

The final episode of Servant of the People premiered on March 28, 2019. Now we’re talking about the show’s possible fourth season. The network has not released an official statement regarding the fourth season. However, anyone who has seen the series knows that the story ends at the end of the third season. On the other hand, with Volodymyr Zelenskyy leading Ukraine in the war against Russia, we’re sure he has more important things on his plate than making a TV series.

Therefore, based on everything we know, we can say that the show is over after three seasons. And the chances of Servant of the People season 4 coming back are less than slim. Meanwhile, there were reports of a US remake of the show during Donald Trump’s presidential campaign. However, the plans were later cancelled.

Is it a real story?

Since protagonist Zelenskyy is the current president of Ukraine, many people wonder if Servant of the People is a true story. Well, the answer is yes and no. The show is a prime example of the age-old saying ‘society inspires art, and art inspires society’. The show is very similar to the true story of the current Ukrainian president. But the catch is that it took a while for Zelenskyy to be elected president. The series was created as a satire on the political landscape of Ukraine. However, it became so popular that by an expected turn of events it has become a reality.

Servant of the People Season 4

When the show was released, there was a lot of mistrust in the people of President Poroshenko in Ukraine. On the other hand, Zelenskyy got involved in politics when he protested against the content of Russian artists in Ukraine. Therefore, the public began to see him as an alternative. Zelenskyy rejected any ambition to enter politics. His supporters saw him as a possible presidential candidate. Despite not indicating his candidacy for president, the comedian was one of the most popular choices in surveys in October 2018.

Finally, Zelenskyy bowed to the public’s demand. He announced that his presidential campaign came less than four months before the election. But it unexpectedly became popular with the masses. The mainstream media was not involved in Zelenskyy’s campaign. He spoke to voters through social media and YouTube videos.

Given his outspoken stance on the country’s political system and the support of a strong team. On May 20, 2019, Zelenskyy was elected President of Ukraine and was sworn in as the country’s sixth leader. ‘Servant of the People’, although not based on a true story. But it is almost prophetic. It foreshadowed Zelensky’s popularity as a future president and the importance of the Internet in his triumph.
