Ever wondered what a modern Sex and the City reboot with Neil Patrick Harris in the cast would have looked like? Well, fans don’t have to wonder anymore, because Netflix’s new comedy-drama series Uncoupled is actually the answer. The first season of the series left fans with a few questions. So they’re buzzing about when it comes back with Uncoupled Season 2. So. here’s what we know about it.
What to expect from Uncoupled Season 2?
Colin realizes his choice to leave Michael was wrong after being gone all season and heads to his house. Even after their painful divorce, Michael goes through a transition and accepts his mistakes while hoping for Colin’s happiness. However, the conclusion also seems to imply that their relationship may never be the same again. Although Colin changes his mind, he may later feel limited by Michael’s boring habits.
We can expect the show to continue the storyline from where the first season ended. The second season of Uncoupled could explore how Michael’s newfound openness to change can strengthen or worsen their bond. In addition, Michael’s devotion to Colin doesn’t waver throughout the season, but the cathartic experience of being alone can make him question Colin’s devotion. This could serve as a trigger for Uncoupled Season 2 to show how Michael would try to make things right the second time around, wishing Colin would stay.
Who is Kai’s father?
In the first season, it is revealed that Kai, the mother of Michael’s best friend Suzanne, has found his father. But Suzanne knew nothing about him, having been born after an exciting summer exploring Europe. Suzanne’s conflicting feelings as she keeps him from learning about his father and wanting to be there for her son are masterfully portrayed by Campbell. The first ends with Suzanne reacting to seeing her son’s father and being shocked, even though Kai ultimately decides not to see his father. In Uncoupled Season 2, Kai’s father will likely be seen in some capacity.
Will there be a decoupled season 2?
The first season of Netflix’s comedy-drama series dropped on the streaming platform on July 29, 2022. Meanwhile, talking about the future of the series, there are unfortunately no updates from Netflix yet. Fans need not worry though. Whether it’s the cliffhanger ending of the first season or big stars like Neil Patrick Harris’ association with the show, the chances of the series coming back with Uncoupled Season 2 look good. Moreover, the reaction of the fans to the first season was also very positive. Therefore, we can hope that Netflix will announce the second season of the series soon.
