If you’re still struggling to find a Father’s Day gift, you’re in luck. The 48-inch model of the LG C1 OLED is currently on sale for its lowest price ever at BuyDig. Normally $1299.99, this model is currently discounted to $896.99. The C1 remains one of our favorite OLED TVs for gaming and is wholeheartedly endorsed by several members of The edge staff. Oh, and if you buy through BuyDig, you even get a $50 Visa gift card to smooth out the deal.

Not only does the C1’s display have a 120Hz refresh rate, but it also features support for FreeSync and G-Sync adaptive sync technologies that provide a much smoother image while gaming at higher frame rates on PC. In addition to useful features such as Apple AirPlay 2 and built-in compatibility for Google Assistant and Alexa, the C1 also includes a number of fidelity-enhancing features such as Dolby Vision and HDR10.

Overall, the LG C1 is an excellent OLED TV, with a list of features that make it worth investigating whether you’re a gamer or not, especially at this price.

LG C1 OLED (48 inches)

LG’s C1 OLED starts with a 48-inch model, rising to 83 inches. All sizes of this OLED have a refresh rate of 120 Hz, support for FreeSync and G-Sync and a fast processor.

If you’re looking for something that makes a bit more of a statement in your living room, the 55-inch LG A1 OLED TV, which usually costs $1,299.99 currently discounted to just $869 at Amazon, a historic low for this wafer-thin TV. While it may not have the same features as LG’s newer C1 series, the A1 still packs a ton of great features that are hard to refuse at this price point.

In addition to 4K resolution, the display on the A1 is also equipped with Dolby Vision and HDR10 for remarkable color depth. It also comes with built-in voice assistants via Google Assistant and Alexa for hands-free control. Unfortunately, while the A1 series has a low-latency mode for gaming, it lacks support for FreeSync or G-Sync and has a refresh rate limited to 60Hz.

Unless advanced gaming features are a priority, we think this sale on the LG A1 OLED is worth checking out. But for more great gift ideas for your favorite fatherly figure, you can also check out our Father’s Day gift guide for some inspiration.

LG A1 OLED (55 inches)

LG’s entry-level OLED TV, the A1, has an automatic low-latency mode and supports both Alexa and Google Assistant. However, unlike more expensive OLEDs, it lacks a fast refresh rate.
