YouTube, Instagram, Discord and Twitter moved to quickly pull social media pages belonging to Robert Crimo III, a person of interest in the suburb of Chicago who caused six deaths and dozens of injuries this afternoon. Under a few aliases, Crimo appears to have posted more than a dozen videos on YouTube and hosted a Discord channel called “SS”, which was accessible to the public via an invite link.

Crimo’s apparent YouTube account hadn’t posted in about eight months, based on The edges before the account was revoked. The most recent video was about language and imagery that made it seem like classrooms were involved, and stick-art depictions of people getting shot. Another clip appeared to be a music video for a rap song, which ended in Crimo wearing protective gear and wielding bullets in what appeared to be a classroom.

Under a rap alias, which: The edge name, Crimo appeared to have released several albums on Spotify and several EPs and singles on Apple Music, both of which remained online at the time of writing. Social media posts suggest that a TikTok account associated with Crimo may also have been deleted.

The edge has reached out to all of the above platforms for comment. No one has commented at the time of press time.

After the mass shooting in Buffalo, New York in May, it was soon revealed that the shooting suspect had discussed plans for his attack on a private Discord server. He also used Twitch to live stream his attack. Less than two weeks ago, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that it should be harder for states to restrict guns.
